Sorry for posting on the old site.I think the compass not so hot,but it seems like a good buy if you get one for 100 not 400(ripoff)
I am going with the mxt,it is funny you should say that everyone else does.I am buying either a garrett infinum or a TDI for my next machine.I think the tdi is the winner for gold in my book.
But the infinium is water proof,I have used one it is a real good machine.I dont like the minelabs,too much for me,even if I get a good used one.I think the TDI and Infnuium would be easier to operate plus made in usa,no shipping to Austrlia for repair.I can get a good price on a new infnium most likely.The are both hard to find used,must be a reason.
