I'm trying to refrain from posting on this forum as there is a new forum that I was hoping people would use..but
I am curious as to where you heard that the Gold Scanner Pro is the best all around machine ever made...interesting statement
Why dont you keep your Tesoro for coin hunting and get a true gold nugget detector? Save up your money and get a Minelab PI, a used older model will find more gold than any new VLF detector.
But if youre set on getting 1 machine that will do it all, I would say get the MXT, at least Whites is still in business should you have problems with it.
You shouldnt of sold that Spectrum if it could find a fishscale at 11"! I had an XLT for a while and theres no way in the world it could find a small coin that deep, no matter how hot it was set. I dont think theres many machines that could find a fishscale that deep
BTW, hers a pic of my GoldTrax Treasure Baron, I have only used it for coin/relic hunting but its supposed to be pretty good at finding nuggets
Good luck
