.. and even took it out prospecting. Didn't find a speck of gold, but I was pretty useless back then. It IS a pretty sensitive detector, but I think somewhat overpriced compared to what's available now. Personally, I'd take a vaquero any day over the Scorpion. If you can wait, save up your pennies and buy a used MXT. THAT I can definitely say is a kicka$$ nugget machine. With a 6x10" DD coil it can get nuggets down to 1/3 of a GRAIN.. once you've learned how to use the detector. I saw an ad on usedvictoria.com dated Dec 12 wherein a guy was selling a White's GMT for $500 CDN. If it's still there you outta grab it ASAP 'cause that is one primo gold detector (I have one) with arguably the best ground tracking system (shared with the MXT) in the biz. ..Willy.
