Gold scorpion or Vaqureo

I was wondering what woould be more sensative to gold.The vaquero or gold scorpion,both are gold prospeting machine the garrett more so.Which one would yo pick?I can only afford these machiens unless there is any othe high freq machiens with manual ground balance for under $600?
