Of gold today out in the lake. The water was rather calm and a balmy +3. This is the first time I have detected in the last 3 weeks due to the extreme cold. We are fortunate that the lake is so deep it will not freeze unless the cold stays for an extended period. The sun was shinning and I just had to get a hunt in over the holidays. The lake being my only option. In the 1.5 hr hunt I came up with this rose cluster gold ring, a gold band and the couple dollars in change. The gold looks very old as the band had worn the solder joint off and both rings were heavily pitted.
