I got a couple of hunts in this weekend, our Thanksgiving weekend up here in Canada. I've had my eye on this old beach for sometime, I finally got to swing a coil on it. There is some clad here as well, but I know there will be more treasures as I work this site. Here is my take, about 77 coins for a little over 7 bucks, a lens cap, a token, and a nice old mens gold signet ring. Included in the coin totals are 2 silver dimes, 1961 and 1963. The oldest coins were pennies from the twenties, so I'm holding out hope for some older silver as well.
The ring has that "old" look and feel to it, it was deep in the black sand and rang solid pulltab.
It's marked 10K with a couple of other symbols.
I'm pretty excited about the next hunt now, hope to get one or two more outings before the white stuff hits.
Craig
