I use a Whites Prizm V a penny reads 3 diff ways metal, zinc, or copper in fact each coin 1 5 10 25 1.00 or 2.00 all register differant depending on the years made so i just use all metal and dig everything...I am getting much better at my signal sounds and an usually tell coins from junk ...althought this is not a rule dig if you want to find stuff. Fred
