Rockpup, I have used an XLT in Ohio in the U.S. and had very good luck with my custom program. I'm not sure how well it would work locating Canadian coins. But if you want to give the program a try you can get the specs in part of my web page at http://members.iglou.com/jrbarnes/xltprog.htm Good luck, and let us know what you find in Coaldale.
