I haven't hunted as much this year, I'm site poor at the moment and it's been a long spring. I spent Tuesday night at the library and did some homework. My high hopes faded quickly when I failed to gain permission to hunt a site that I had uncovered with my research. I went back to the drawing board and looked at a site that I'd hunted before with not much success. The site covers a big area and sure enough, I found a little sweet spot that the previous hunters had missed. I knew things were looking up when young George started showing up in the plug.
I felt even better when these older models found their way into my pouch. A little peroxide will clean these up nicely.
Now anyone who swings a CZ3D loves to hear the square pulltab sound when hunting an older site, it means nickels.....pulltab at 4 inches, well here they are.
I knew something older would show up, it didn't take long. I cussed myself for touching it with my Lesche.
With all those older targets, I thought there was a good chance for silver, finally a couple made their way into my keeper pocket.
Hope everyone can get out and finally enjoy some beautiful spring weather.
Craig
