Hi...I would not hunt without a electronic probe,but in the meantime,I have a trick to narrow the targets.
1)I call it reverse pin pointing
2)find target
3)CIRCLE the target with your coil,start first where there is no beep
4)KEEP circling smaller diameters,until target is heard only within inner circle,sounds crazy and time consuming BUT it works,it never fails.
5) BUT like I said this is only for backup,I use probes
