well right off the bat you got a terrific deal on them.You can easily sell them at a huge profit!Then buy 2 new land machines.Well otherwise than that I had a 1280x and used it for land hunting only.Hip mount them and its a breeze to swing all day.Pinpointing is a breeze also.I would recommend an electronic probe.Now to pinpoint a target as you swing your coil listen to the tone,as your coil passes over a coin you will get a double blip.MOve your coil back n forth and use the other front edge of your coil to find that center target.Then turn 90* and swing again over the target.The center will be between the 2 rings of the top of that spider coil.It will accurate after some practice.Try it in your driveway with coins,tabs and some gold.Set your dism at 4.5.Ive found a lot of clad and some LC and relics also.Hope this helps,if you have and other questions just ask and someone will try to answer
