I for one have sold many of my gold rings as well as Sterling rings and silver coins. Many of the gold rings I have sold for twice the gold content. (Sold as a ring rather than scrap). I do some collectible and antique shows so have an outlet for some of my coins and jewelry at better than bullion prices. When selling I do have a special coin or token that I am interested in. Have sold some items to help fund a special trip that I am planning on doing. Last bullion sale I made will fund my trip to England in about 3 weeks. Besides one can not take it with you. There are a few items that I have no intentions of ever selling
