Posted by oj bc on October 19, 2007, 0:09:37 ps copper coins are weighed not counted,the RCM uses a Loomis vehicle to transport minted coins from the mint to just across it's parking lot and into another transporter.Many jewellers send there scrap metals to the RCM where its refined again,I GUESS i have too much time on my hands

....was travelling along the tracks with a heavy load of freshly minted coins,apparently the carload had a crack and spewed out new coins for miles along its destination .Has anyone heard or can confirm this ? thanks oj bc 
if a RCM worker makes a error coin they are automatically fired.
