I'm in the exact same situation. Moved here for no other reason than because I just wanted to. Don't work here, not even a little bit of Irish blood in me. I moved here 2 weeks ago and today was granted my Permission to Remain. Was not a problem at all but did have to show my bank statements and health insurance information. I don't know about citizenship. All you need is just proof you won't live off the state. |
: Let's say that you have no 'good' reason to
: move to Ireland. You just like the culture,

: to a job that takes place online.
: Is it possible to move to Ireland with these
: conditions? If so, what's the process of
: attaining citizenship, and which 'reason' do
: you file under with the Irish immigration
: service? I looked at the immigration site
: but it's long and complicated and I don't
: know where to start.
