yes Scott, you do sound a bit put out, but you are n good company as the rest of Ireland feels the same way, at least I DO! I kinda feel that we have got the bums rush by them WE elected!
: Not only are there new forms for the
: application as of November 2011, this 175
: Euro looks an additional fee!
: You still have to pay the 950 euro when the
: certificate of naturalisation is issued.
: and work your way down the page to the fee
: Irish citizenship ain't cheap - and it's
: getting dearer every day as those bums and
: immoral thieves in the ECB insist we keep
: the billionaires happy.
: The problem for Ireland IS the european
: central bank and giving those guys an ounce
: more of power is not going to get past any
: referendum of the Irish people.
: As the euro swirls down the toilet, I'm
: happy to know that the architects of this
: disaster will all be protected with cushy
: pensions and the like. And your 950 euro fee
: will do very nicely when added to the
: hundreds of others needed to keep our lords
: and masters in style.
: Do I sound angry?

: Hello Scott...
: I just read on the Immigration website that
: the cost for applying for citizenship is 175
: Euro. That price seems to have gone down
: from the 950 Euros that was posted 3 months
: ago. They have a new form as of TODAY,
: ironically enough...which is supposed to be
: a streamlined process. But to have the cost
: reduced so significantly is a shock. Is
: that just a "pre-application" fee
: of 175 and if you get approved then you pay
: the 950, or is this a real deal? Just
: wondering if my eyes are playing tricks on
: me. We make our citisenship application in
: August 2012 so just checking out the latest
