I'm a U.S. citizen pondering retiring in Ireland. Given the economic uncertainty in Ireland at the moment, I'm wondering whether this would be a good or bad time to be looking at purchasing a house there. Where does real estate stand now? Have thing hit bottom? Will it be difficult, given the mass the banks are in, to obtain financing for a mortgage?
