South of Ireland

I will be retiring soon... next 6 months and as I am a Irish Citizen, so say expat, I was wondering where would be the best place in the south of Ireland for me to look at buying a small bungalow to fix up?

I owned a Construction Co. for over 30 years and really relish the thought of fixing up a place and just enjoying the rest of my days in a place I have spent so much of my vacations.
