Hello Ryan and Scott,
Ryan, thanks for the information.
I had read somewhere that when you rent your house in the US, its value is reduced. Do you know anything about this? Anyway, I suppose in the current market, how much lower could it go!
Thanks,
Geri

: We'll probably be in the same boat.
:
: We own two houses here in the U.S., and will
: probably not be able to sell one of them
: before we leave for Ireland. We've rented
: that house out to two different tenants
: already. The first was a COMPLETE
: NIGHTMARE, and the other has been better,
: but not problem-free.
:
: We'll probably hire a rental agent to deal
: with all the garbage that will inevitably
: come while we're out of the country.

: Hi,
:
: Has anyone moved to Ireland and rented their
: US residence during that time? I have heard
: that renting out results in devaluation of
: your property. Has anyone had this
: experience?
:
: Thanks,
: Geri
:
: P.S. Also wondering if anyone has moved home
: in their 40's. Looking for some hope that it
: is possible!
