Our 4 year old started school here at Junior Infants so this was the only school system she knew, other than some Montessori in the states. No problems at all to report, nor even with her 8 year old sister who started in 3rd class after 1st and 2nd grade in the states. She was behind in her Irish for about a year, but then caught up.
