We'll probably be in the same boat.
We own two houses here in the U.S., and will probably not be able to sell one of them before we leave for Ireland. We've rented that house out to two different tenants already. The first was a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE, and the other has been better, but not problem-free.
We'll probably hire a rental agent to deal with all the garbage that will inevitably come while we're out of the country.
