Sorry to beat a dead horse, but also wanted to point out that TV license inspectors will note any TV antenna aerials or satelitte dishes. So even if you don't own a TV but have an aerial on your roof, they will fine you. If you are renting a place with an aerial, they will fine you. Even young adults away at university dorms have to license the TV in their rooms!
It is very rare that a home doesn't own a TV. It's your word against theirs!
