Surely the frozen turkeys will be in by November, no? Maybe not, been a while since I had a Christmas at home. All the Christmas parties start early Dec so they must get them from somewhere LOL!

: A perennial question. In Ireland, turkeys are
: grown principally for the Christmas season,
: but they are absolutely available these days
: year round.
:
: Like CJ says, contact your local poultry
: butcher a couple of weeks ahead and they'll
: order you a fresh one. Be warned, the fresh
: ones are expensive - but delicious.

: My local SuperValu (supermarket) has small
: turkeys year round. Doesn't hurt to ask if
: they can order you one. Butcher shops get
: poultry delivered at least weekly and could
: probably order you one from their vendor.
:
: If you can't find a whole bird, you can get
: turkey breast roasts at Lidl all the time.
: They are near the chicken pieces (not
: frozen).
