Hello fellow Ireland dreamers, and those already there.
Here's my question; I'm well aware of the economy in Ireland, jobs situation etc. I am 50ish, single (div'd, kids on their own), have lots of 1st cousins in Leitrim, would love to go. Is this a workable idea if I figure I give myself 2 yrs. worth of savings to live on - will have to calculate what that is - until I may for sure get myself a little job. I'm thinking that as to buying a small home, the next year or two would actually be a good time. Are there any other brave folks out there (over the 20's) who did this on their own? Would love to hear how it went. Thanks, Patricia
