Hi, i am irish and i am planning to move back to ireland this november or december. My husband is Australian and we are currently living in Melbourne. What would my husband need to work over there. I have been told that he just applies for a work permit. Is that correct? He is an engineering manager and has a background as a tool maker. Does anyone know what the jobs are like in that area? I am a teacher, i teach children with specific learning difficulties and i have also completed a bachelor in psychology and disability studies and have completed an honours year in psychology, which gives me provisional registration as a psycholgist in Australia. I was thinking of doing my masters in Galway at a later stage. But i was wondering what kind of work options there would be for both of us in Ireland.
I also was interested to find out about moving companies. I may move my car back over to Ireland and some possesion. Does anyone know of any good shipping companies from melbourne. I have had quotes but they seem very high!
