Whoops forgot to post message!!
Not sure how you booked container for transit however when we booked/shipped our container it was door to door. The container landed in Cork, loaded on a truck and driven to our front door. We were given 2 hrs max to unload(40footer). After which it was E65/hr to the driver. We had 4 weeks to arrange locals, which we did to help unload and had it done in 1 1/2hrs. As Scott said you don't want to be blocking a small street in a housing estate so ensure you have the manpower to offload quickly. The house will be jammers with furniture/boxes but at least the container will be out of your hair. The only concern we had was that we were warned in advance that a customs official may meet the truck enroute or at our house to inspect the material being offloaded for what they would consider contraband or VAT taxable items circumventing customs duty so beware which could have slowed things down considerably.

: Storage. They are in the Golden Pages or
: check the website . www.careline.ie
: Interesting .. my move was supposed to be
: door to door too but ended at Cork. My
: shipment was part of a mixed container. We
: hired a van to go and collect the cartons.
: What a pain .
