Well, we did it. Moved to Ireland that is. We are here and our container arrives in 3-4 weeks. It is being shipped port to port so as far as we understand it we need to hire our own customs agent and figure out how to unload it. Now we are totally fine with unloading the container ourselves but not sure how to go about it. Would it be cheaper to hire a company to get the container from the shipyard and go unload it there or try to hire a truck to haul the container? (We have a friend with a commercial truck driver's license.) Any ideas? contacts?

BTW we had thought it was port to door when we hired...then at the last our terms were "clarified" and we're scrambling a bit!
