My husband and I are expecting another child in early september. Would we need to register her in the births in Ireland, and then get a passport for her? Her father is an Irish citizen, I am an American and we would like them to have Irish citizenship as well. We had a son 14 months ago and we never registered him, should we of 3 months before the birth? We are also thinking of moving back soon- so it would be better before we move to have all this paperwork done for them.
What are the procedures in going about doing this?
