Shippers take items as small as one old fashioned trunk. Contact a couple and see what they say. Our desktop computer arrived just fine in one piece, though it was part of an entire container-load, so not quite the same thing.
You'll pay a slightly higher rate per pound, but they have no problem with partial container loads. They just divide them into pallets which go in a common shipment.
