Hello,
I just registered for the full site, although I'd been using it as a reference for some time. Really a good resource that's been quite helpful. I've been planning to move to Europe (and Ireland specifically) for quite a while, and it's finally almost here!
A bit about me - I'm just finishing up my Master's in Information Technology from a good school in the Boston area, and have my BS in Computer Science. I leave just a few days after commencement. I was a bit disheartened to see the recent changes to the Green Card scheme, but happy to see that IT hasn't been affected yet.
I'm specifically looking for jobs in IT of course, but not necessarily working for a company in the IT sector. I'm most interested in working for a non-profit, or charitable organization.
I've looked around a bit, but does anyone have any suggestions for companies in the Cork City area that I might look into? I'm already planning on checking out UCC, but I haven't had much luck finding info on companies in the Cork area that are non-profit, charitable organizations.
