Haven't heard from you in a while. Now that you're well settled and a "native" how do you find living in the North?

: Scott has it right, and his advice also
: applies to Northern Ireland, should some of
: you ever decide to move here. If you display
: the three documents Scott mentioned, your
: chances of being stopped are drastically
: reduced, here in the north, we only display
: our annual vehicle inspection certificate
: and annual registration certificate. I've
: been driving here in the north for five
: years on a U.S; license and have been
: stopped many times, (not for traffic
: violations)mostly just road checks. Another
: problem faced up here is driving a northern
: registered car while residing in the
: Republic,as in my case. The Irish customs
: are on the road between North Ireland and
: the republic each and every day, but when
: I'm stopped, and they hear my accent, I just
: get waved through the roadblock, I've never
: had a chance to try out my well rehearsed BS
: story on them. Keep all your documents
: current, stay with the posted speed, drive
: sober, and extend all road curtsies to your
: fellow drivers, and you'll have no problems.
