Moving to ireland does husband need a job right away?

I am in the process of finding a job in Ireland. I am an Occupational Therapist and the offers would range from 55-65 Euro a year. Here's the question, I have 3 kids that will be coming with me and my husband, I would like for my husband to not work right away until we have a place for the kids to go....would we be able to survive well enough living off of one salary for a month or so? Not sure yet where we will be placed.
