married to irish citizen

My husband is a citizen of Ireland. He was born in Northern Ireland, but has an Irish Passport.
If we relocate to Ireland from the US, can i live n Northern Ireland? I was told that i have an right to live in (Island Of Ireland) but doesn't that include to occupied 6 counties?
