Just a repeat as I have said before...I love the Irish weather...we had 5 snowfalls in the midlands last winter and I welcome more this year. It may rain everyday but very rarely does it rain all day & night for weeks as it can in Northern CA, including fog that you can not even see the front of your car nor a glimmer of sun for 2 months. Then speaking of sun that would be about 5 months of temps from near 100F to 115F. After 20 years of that I have had more than enough sun to last the rest of my life. I do go to CA 2-3 times for 4-6 wks each and always pray for the weather not to be hot but that rarely works in May when I do go. I really don't think you will find Ireland as dreary as Seattle can be.That said though we have had a bit more rain this month than most and a couple of dry days would be nice to get the lawn mowed. I did come home Sat to a flooded front part of the lawn, water up to the car doors. We had spent the week on the south coast with one grand day of sunshine. Cheers!

: Unlike Cheri, I'm getting a little sick of
: all the lashing rain. We recently had about
: twelve days in a row of wet gray days. Of
: course, my frustration may have something to

: whinging about being bored.

: I've been over three summers and only one of
: the three has been good (the first year).
: It's lucky the people here are nice because
: I sure don't stay for the weather. The plus
: side is that we don't have snow to shovel in
: the winter.
:
: I've accepted the fact that the only way to
: get some sun is to go away on holiday.
: Flights leave daily.
