Posted by Red-Five on August 28, 2003, 7:00 am BTC is of course the first episode to feature the blue swimming costume outfit, and also features four transformations (five if you count the reverse-footage of her changing back to her regular outfit!) The quality of the print for this episode is a little grainy, but otherwise quite sharp. Knockout features four transformations (or five, if you count the re-used footage of Diana changing in the woods!) of which the first and last are particularly interesting.. The first sees Diana change in her nightdress/dressing gown, and the last has Diana mounting a brave escape from a hostage situation, so she can find the privacy she needs to transform. (The terrorist cries out "Diana Prince's escape changes nothing!" --- the very next shot we see is Diana removing her glasses and twirling into Wonder Woman!) TQATT has only two transformations, but in both circumstances Diana is dressed as a maid. A few of the transformations suffer from the flash not covering the edit point cleanly, as was the case with volume one, but this only effects one or two tfs.
Volume two of the Wonder Woman DVD's is available in the UK. It features the stories "Bermuda Triangle Crisis", "Knockout" and "The Queen and the Thief". Extras include a rather pathetic merchendising section, and a large (and I mean large!) collection of photo stills from the show and backstage - including some rate shots.
