Posted by billyboy on October 4, 2001, 7:44 am Also, call me out-of-it, but the majority of today's comic artwork seems to me to be boring. I know there are huge swirls of airbrushed color on every page, but there's usually so much that I can't even tell what's going on in the panel.
I also think the secret i.d. is kind of a quaint idea, and usually dealt with tongue-in-cheek in today's cynical world, rather than as the intense, deep, exciting and all-important feature that it truly is.
