BatMad's log
november 1999 - finally connected to the internet. Besides mainstream search, I go around search engines, looking for sites about my weird fetishes. I slowly discover they're not THAT weird, since there's fool of sites on them. They even got names :-) shoeplay, de-booting, ecc.. and developed communities grown up around 'em. But nothing on unmasking superheroines. Blast it.
march 2000 - I keep on surfin' superheroine sites: lotsa bad taste, lostsa porn, very few unmasking, since most of those superheroines don't have actual masks. Big delusion.
may 2001 - after more than one year enjoinin' the internet, I do the right search and discover some Yahoo! clubs on superheroine peril. None of them is about unmasking, yet they have good and non-porn material. Sometimes discussions about unmasking just come out, but a few minority of club members seem to like it. Unmasking-related contributions to those clubs are near to zero.
september 2001 - I get the Copernic 2001 software, sort of a meta-engine very powerful and fullfeatured.
october 1st, 2001 - I just tape, for the game, my usual unmasking keywords: "batgirl unmasked". The software does what all search engines never managed to: find this page! Probably in normal searching this site was always on page 145 over 789, among crap sites which haven't anything to do with unmasking; and I never run into a page with a link to this one; anyway, you can't imagine my feelings after I finally found THE page :-)
I draw, and of course I draw on unmaskings as well. Little stuff on that, I must admit. But knowing there was a site *specifically* on unmasking, that made me decide to finally start my long-time dreamed sketches for the "War of the Masks", a silly but 'unmasking' plot about Catwoman, her misterious lady boss and their intention to go unmask all superheroines. I've already completed two pages of sketches, in which Marvel's Bluebird and DC's Spoiler engage battle with Catwoman and get stroke down and unmasked. I still have to edit them adding balloons. I'm quite excited, thanks to this page.
october 4th, 2001 - I just come back to this message board to post something, and do discover it's all just going to disappear :-( I'm not goin' to discuss webmaster's reasons (who am I to say anything?), anyway it's quite weird and sad losing something I just found.
I read about Yahoo! clubs on this topic. Where are them? I honestly would like to join and discuss topics.
I'm promoting this page to the few unmask fans that I met online.
I started the War of the Masks, and think I'll go finish it (in a few weeks, since I'm not that plenty of time). I hope I could put it here.
BTW, we'll see what happens next. I'm sorry I discover'd it all in a bad moment.
