I've been catching up on my reading of unmasking stories and another good fan fic story worth reading is is Mickey Freedom's "Bolt from the Blue." He has the first 2 chapters set up with a near plane crash that Supergirl flies up to help, but the main character, Lisa, gets a taste of a lightning bolt as Supergirl rescues her. It is about an original character, Bolt, not Supergirl. This plot going in an interesting direction, and he writes scenes very well. He catches your interest at the start describing a superheroine change scene and rescue, putting the reader right there in the room changing with the heroine. Micky, you should definitely write more-Good job!
