Posted by chris I split transformations into the supergirl/ wonder woman type, and the she hulk type. both have similar starting points. What is it with business suits. cause I absolutely agree with Red Five and probably most other people here. A smart conservative business suit is the quintisential starting point for a transformation. The girl in question is a different matter, I prefer a real difference in physical form between the girl and the heroine even for those transformations which are really only costume changes. so for a "supergirl" style transformation I actually picture the girl as being younger than the heroine appears say round about age 18. about 5 foot 6 inches, blonde hair just long enough to pull back into a ponytail. She's wearing a dark coloured business suit the skirt of which come to just above the knee. The shoes are a neat pair of loafers. Oh and of course there is the obligatory silk blouse. The setting should be somewhere, where our heroine is going to be called into action. Outside it should be a park and for inside say an office scenario. Labs are good for Origin transformations but that's really only a one off. I like Reds idea for the search for a place to transform, it heightens the tension. will our mild mannered secretary manage to become the all powerful heroine or not? my own preference is for a "magical" transformation but we'll get onto that once a few more people have described their ultimate setups. Sorry Red Five you shot your bolt a little early there but I should have explained in more detail in the first post.
