I have since found out that Madison Mounds Cemetery and Rough Creek Baptist cemetery are one and the same. I have visited the cemetery and there are a lot of Spears buried in this cemetery. Also I believe my grandfather John Smith is buried there, but have no proof only information handed to me by family members. I do know the Smith family went to the Rough Creek Baptist Church which is on the grounds with the cemetery. I have a listing of the people buried there. Some have markers and some have tombstones. Would be willing to share information.
