Thank you for your reply. My (strong possibility) ties to the Lyles family is the following. My gg-gm was married to a wm. Maynor in Kentucky (SC section) , they had George W. Maynor, my g-gf, whom I have 1842 up...info on the Maynors of SC-Ky and Middle Tn. The family lore is that Emily, wife of Wm. Maynor was abandoned along with George when George was a small boy, William went back to England. Now, the interesting part is that family lore further states that Emily married a Lyles from the Barren Co. area, we have no more info on Emily and cannot substantiate any facts. Were lost! Does any of this ring a bell in your leg of the Lyles ? If you need any lateral info from me, please just ask.
