Found your e-mail on William Smith in Allen County.My gggrandfather was John Moore Smith,married to Mary Conyers.My ggrandfather was Larken (Larkin) Smith married to Martha Ann Duke. I have not been able to find out where John Smith was born and who his parents were.His father was supposedly from Scotland and the story goes that he died on the way to Scotland and his children were sent back to their mother.Why the mother was not with the children and John's dad is a mystery.John and Mary were married in Wilson Co.Tn. I have a record of their marriage certificate.It does not show any parents. If any of this sounds familiar please e-mail be and perhaps we can connect the Smith's from Allen County.Thanks Grannyangel
