My Gr-Great Grandfather Benjamin Franklin McThompson was born in Allen, Co. in 1833. He was the son of William and Eda (Rigers? Rogers?) McThompson. I am looking for any information on this family. William may have been born in Ireland, he came to Kentucky with Eda from North Carolina. Benjamin, when grown went to Illinois.
