I am a direct ancestor to the Kirby's that settled that area. My great-grandfather owned that land, and it is my understanding that one of my cousins has bought part of this property. One way I know you can find out alot of the history that is Kirby related is to contact Kevin Kirby at JC Kirby & Sons Funeral Chapel in BG and he can direct you to the Kirby archives that JC had compiled (I was the last known entry that he had put in there maybe more now) I hope this directs you to help. Please keep me informed on what you find out, I just found this site today by pure accident.
