There was a grist mill and store that was located at the corner of what is now Union Chapel and Dover Church Roads. It was owned by Lon Bonds, which was my grandmothers family. At one time this area was called Bond, KY. My family also at one time owned and operated the Forest Springs Resort. Thats where my grandparents met!! Bascom and Gracie (Duke) Brown. Hope this helps your question. If you check with RC Duke there in Union Chapel Community he may can direct you to someone with old family photos!
