Saudi delegate at the International Atomic Energy Agency Saleh Azel was quoted Tuesday in daily Okaz as saying Riyadh is committed to respecting all international treaties and agreements on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
He denied reports about the existence of a small nuclear reactor in Saudi for medical purposes.
"Saudi Arabia backs all efforts and moves aimed at creating regions free of nuclear weapons and other arms of mass destruction," Azel said.
