Posted by SUPPORTERS OF SHARIAH on 14/2/2005, 17:45:30 Shaykh Abu Hamza and Abu Abdullah regularly held the Khutba outside the Masjid despite rain, wind, snow and police and media oppression, our struggle to get the Masjid open has been a long one of over 22 months. But our struggle has been dampened by the Muslims, the Munafiqeen and the Kaffirs altogether preventing Supporters of Shari’ah from promoting the Haqq (Truth) of Islam. This is a timeline of the events that have occurred since May 2004: - At 3am Thursday Morning on the 27th May 2004 Shaykh Abu Hamza was arrested under an extradition request by the US Government. This so-called extradition was despite the Shaykh not having to set foot on US-Soil. - The brothers at Finsbury Park Masjid made a decision to continue their struggle to get the Finsbury Park Masjid re-opened to speak the Haqq. - The Masjid re-opened on the first day of Ramadan, the 15th of October 2004, which was welcomed by the Muslim community. Abu Abdullah and Mohammad Ibn Abu Hamza were the Khateebs since this time with the consent of the Worshippers. (Video footage of this with Worshippers urging the Brothers to lead is available) - Abu Abdullah and Mohammad continued to speak the Haqq despite the threats of the trustees, the Government, the BNP and many other enemies of Allah(swt). - For the duration of Ramadan the trustees were responsible for the upkeep of the Masjid however the Masjid was completely neglected when they refused to pay debts which they themselves incurred (i.e. the gas bill and electricity bill). Despite them stealing millions of pounds from the Masjid throughout a period of approximately 20 years. - After Ramadan Ansar Al Shariah(Supporters of Shari’ah) had received many complaints by senior members of the community about the corruption of the trustees. - Abu Abdullah (the Ameer of Supporters of Shari’ah) decided to reclaim the Masjid back to the community, where he was trying to get many projects up and running inside the Masjid, amongst them include: • Computer facilities - But these projects where halted by Islington Council for our uncompromising message of Islam. - Abu Abdullah was appointed as the Director of the Masjid as of 7th January 2005 with respect to the Companies Act 1985. - The Masjid was then incorporated i.e. formed a Company Limited by Guarantee, in accordance with the Companies Act 1985. - Abu Abdullah sent a letter to the existing trustees informing them that they should return the stolen funds and goods back to the Masjid, including bank statements so that there was a written track record of their fraudulency. - On the 5th February 2005 the Masjid was handed over to a group of sell-out Muslims, whose head Dr Kamal Helbawy (self-appointed leader of Ikhwan al-Muslimeen) is quoting as saying “The Charity Commission can be easily bought”. From their actions and their statements it is very clear that there was a major conspiracy and massive funds were handed over in order to evict Supporters of Shari’ah from the Masjid and prevent them from exposing their conspiracy against the Haqq of Islam. - The Following trustees have been appointed by the charity commission: Abdel Shaheed El-Ashaal (Chairman); Mohammed Kozbar (Secretary); Ahmed Sheikh-Mohammed (Treasurer); Dr. Hafez Al-Karmi; and Mohammad Kathem Sawalha. Throughout the very short period that these trustees have been in charge of the Masjid, they has NOT carried out repairs but instead they have installed surveillance equipment and a direct line to the Police, which clearly shows that they are police informers and work under the auspices of Scotland Yard. They have also exposed their hypocrisy by going to the media to condemn Muslims and praise the Kuffar. Given that the Charities Commission key problems with Shaykh Abu Hamza were the alleged supporting of ‘Terrorism’ and the ‘Political’ nature of Sermons. It is ironic that the control of the Masjid has been handed over to the MAB and so-called Muslim Brotherhood. Azzam Tamimi a leading member of the MAB was seen over the last week speaking to the Media as a representative of the Masjid and the MAB. Yet it is well know that Mr. Tamimi is the head Institute of Islamic Political Thought, as well as a staunch HAMAS Supporter who has advised the late Shaykh Ahmed Yassin the ideologue of HAMAS (i.e. what Dr. Ayman al-Zawahri is to al-Qa’eda) and refuses to condemn so-called ‘suicide-bombings’. MAB is known for its encouragement in engaging in Politics and giving its support to Political causes like Palestine and condemning the War in Iraq. The Ikhwan al-Muslimeen (Muslim Brotherhood), a name they should consider changing after their latest back-stabbing performance, are known for their Political Activism… The late founder Shaykh Hassan al-Banna would have condemned them today for their collaboration with “Kafir” authorities. Which goes to show that the Charities Commission is not really interested about Politics and Terrorism. But as confirmed time and time again is part of the Governments venomous vendetta against Shaykh Abu Hamza, just like the changing of the citizenship laws and the enforcement of the new Extradition Treaty with the USA (resulting in the Extradition Act 2004) were all done by the Government to specifically target Shaykh Abu Hamza. The British Government have never had anything on Shaykh Abu Hamza, but have been engaged in doing things back-to-front changing laws and negotiating treaties all in order to silence him.

Occupation of Finsbury Park Masjid
On Saturday 5th February 2005 five members of Ikhwan al Muslimeen (Muslim Brotherhood) and MAB (an affiliate of the government backed MCB) were appointed by the charity commission and were backed by the riot Police to take control of the Masjid(mosque).

• Sisters classes
• Youth Football team
• Employment Training
• A Gym
• And many more activities
We would like to comment on the fact that these so-called trustees have only very rarely come to Finsbury Park Masjid prior to the appointment of their trusteeship, and they were never elected by any member of the community. Furthermore the community don’t have any knowledge of who these trustees are.
