In response to the comments by Jess, I would just like to say I am a big fan of the guys music and have been for many years now.
It has been my privelage to work with them on a few projects of late and it truly saddens me to hear you say, you think the band are not interested in having the 'wider public hear' their music. Of course they are. They work hard, and are extremely dedicated to their music and their fans.
Perhaps Jess, you could approach your local radio station or triple J and request they play the guys music, or your local record store and ask them to get some cds in.
When there is no marketing budget involved in releasing artists work, it is people like you that can really help in getting things going. If you truly are a fan of the music then surely you would rather give the guys a bit of support by making people aware that you are listening to a great indie band, than rely on glossy ads or marketing teams to tell you who you should be listening to.
