Its very difficult to believe in anything after we have been betrayed by our "best friend". Our trust is shattered and it will take years of work to regain it.
But the "other woman" is not your problem. Your husband betrayed you and he is the one that you live with and with whom you have to rebuild an honest relationship.
There are very few couples who can recover alone. You need the help of a very professional marital therapist. Theis is probably the worst trauma that you will ever suffer.
