In my mind, you do not ignore the male "friend" and your W appears to be involving herself in a revenge friendship that is actually a form of emotional affair.
It was not acceptable for you to have a sexual relationship and it is not acceptable for your W to have this emotional relationship. Just as you owed her the truth and to stop the relationship, she owes you the same now.
Did you and your W have any therapy after you told her about your A? Therapy is what is needed and, if your W refuses to go, then go alone. You stated that your W stuck by you but that is not completely true since she is now involved with this OM. Now you and she have 2 betrayals to overcome and it will take total truth, total committment and the help of a therapist to get this back on track.
