Anna,
The history of affairs in my marriage started many years ago and ended 10 years ago after many years of intense pain, anger and work, work, work.
The catalyst for all of this was the revelation of my husband's last affair and the subsequent further betrayal after it was revealed.
We spent many years working with our very excellent therapist on our marriage and we finally have a marriage that is honest, bonded, and fulfilling.
We could have had this so much earlier if we had done the work years ago when the first affair was revealed.
So - all this to say to you that you are on the right track and you should deal with this and heal your marriage NOW so that you can avoid years of trauma.
